San Diego welcomes Ed Harris, David Duchovny, William Fichtner and others to begin filming Russian sub thriller #Phantom- Starways Orchestra The first publicity listed Long Beach as the filming location, but Variety is now saying it will be shot at the Maritime Museum in San Diego. Among the many restored ships at the museum is a diesel/electric submarine from the Soviet Navy, exactly the type described in the storyline.

Dagmara Dominczyk will be playing the role of Sophi, replacing Natascha McElhone. She has been seen recently in the TV shows "Suits" and "The Good Wife", and played Pamela (the friendly mother at school) in "Trust the Man".
