"Tuesday, May 24, 2005 The End of the Beginning sorry, it's been a while, hard to switch heads from shooting this movie, the secret, to house of d. i just wanted to thank everybody here for the support and care you have all given to house of d. i can't say that i'm not disappointed that the movie did not reach a wider audience, but that's the way things go. it's a tough business and we always knew with a movie like this, it would be an uphill battle. i am convinced that house of d will eventually find a large and appreciative audience on dvd and on tv. some movies just take a while to find their stride, this is one. i am sure of this. i probably won't be adding much to this blog in the near future, but i am inspired to blog further, perhaps create a forum that is not dependant on a specific project, one that is more ongoing. i'll see about that. it's been an amazing experience to hear you all out there and to meet some of you. this isn't the end, just the end of the beginning. all my best, david d.
